Access Control Technician
Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM plus overtime as needed
DUTIES
- Travel to customer sites within our territory (about a 2-3 hour radius in most cases) to asses and service existing automated gate systems, access control systems, camera systems and other low-voltage systems.
- Travel to customer sites within our territory (about a 2-3 hour radius in most cases) to install new automated gate systems, access control systems, camera systems and other low-voltage systems.
- This position covers all aspects of the systems we service. Running high and low-voltage conduit and wire, wiring systems, testing systems, software, networking, establishing communications, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Neat appearance and professional demeanor.
- Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers for common goals.
- Organized and detailed.
- Experience with the following or like manufacturers….DoorKing, LiftMaster, DSX, HySecurity, ICRealtime, Magnetic, Amano, HID, AWID, etc.
- Team player.
- Ability to learn and desire for continuing training and education.
- Ability to work on your feet in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Clean driving record.
- Must pass a drug screening.
ADDITIONAL
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Construction experience is a plus, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
