Advanced Care Providers is seeking a motivated and compassionate Bilingual Physical Therapy Assistant (English/Spanish) to join our integrated healthcare team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you’ll be the go-to person for our physical therapy department, working closely with our chiropractors and physical therapists to help patients recover strength, mobility, and function. Your bilingual skills will play a vital role in building trust and ensuring clear communication with our diverse patient base.
What You’ll Do
- Assist patients with their individualized rehabilitation exercise programs under the direction of our healthcare team.
- Demonstrate and explain exercises to ensure proper form, safety, and effectiveness.
- Set up and operate physical therapy equipment and modalities (e.g., electrical stimulation, ultrasound, traction, etc.).
- Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to supervising providers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy area.
- Help patients feel comfortable, motivated, and confident throughout their therapy sessions.
- Provide clear communication and support in both English and Spanish.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation as directed.
- Participate in ongoing education and certification opportunities to expand clinical skills.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and professional demeanor.
- Prior experience in a physical therapy, chiropractic, or rehab setting.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with physical therapy exercises, rehabilitation equipment, or medical terminology.
- Interest in obtaining additional certifications or continuing education in the rehab field.
