Overview
Join our dedicated team at Advanced Care Providers (ACP), where you’ll be the welcoming face of our practice! As a Bilingual Front Desk Medical Receptionist, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations within our Physical Therapy and Pain Management departments.

What You’ll Do
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a professional and welcoming environment
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments for physical therapy, pain management, and follow-up visits
- Verify patient demographics, and obtain necessary authorizations
- Perform patient check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately
- Assist with patient intake paperwork, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant
- Communicate clearly with patients in both English and Spanish regarding appointments, care instructions, and general inquiries
- Manage multi-line phone systems, route calls appropriately, and respond to inquiries promptly
- Coordinate communication between providers, referral sources, and patients
- Collect co-pays, assist with front office billing tasks, and update patient accounts
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Support additional administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations
Basic Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and scheduling procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Cerner EHR systems
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Front Desk Coordinator in a physical therapy, pain management, or orthopedic setting
- Experience with Cerner EHR system
- Familiarity with pre-authorizations and billing workflows
- Experience working with personal injury (PI) and workers’ compensation cases is a plus
