Duties
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and dental procedures, utilizing knowledge of dental terminology.
- Conduct laboratory tests maintain accurate records.
- Handle pets with care to minimize stress during visits.
- Maintain cleanliness.
- Educate pet owners.
- Stay current and participate in ongoing training.
Requirements
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology is preferred but not required for all applicants; relevant experience may be considered as well as Vet Tech students.
- A genuine passion for animal care and welfare is essential.
