Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Specialty Woodworker to join our team. This role involves crafting high-quality custom wood products, requiring a strong foundation in various carpentry techniques and fabrication. The ideal candidate will have experience working in manufacturing environments, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints to produce precise commercial woodwork tailored to client specifications. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from cabinetry, plastic laminate & wood veneer die walls, custom shop manufactured soffits and ladder toe kicks, floating shelves, V-folding, radius work with plastic laminates, solid woods and veneers.
Duties
- Construct Any Custom Woodwork that is outside the parameters of our run of the mill manufacturing of Cabinets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure, cut and assemble wood components with precision.
- Preparing Solid wood and Veneers for finishing.
- Assist with standard manufacturing of cabinets from time to time (on temporary basis).
- Laying up plastic laminates on sheet goods or on the face of die walls or custom soffits (final file finishing of edges).
- Matching up veneers and woodgrain laminates side by side with adjacent work and end matching when required.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project specifications are met within deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
Skills
- Extensive experience with woodworking techniques including cabinetry, (Experience using CNC, edge bander, table saw/slider saw and other woodworking equipment), V-folding, grain matching, Identifying Wood Species, cutting and installing moldings (crown molding included).
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for precise fabrication.
- Knowledge of millwork construction and project planning processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during material handling tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills in fabricating custom wood pieces.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding project schematics.
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic combined with technical expertise to contribute effectively to diverse projects requiring precision craftsmanship.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and willing to work overtime, when needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
