Responsibilities
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections on biomedical equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Perform calibration of medical devices to maintain accuracy and performance standards.
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed
- Collaborate with clinical staff to understand equipment needs, provide technical support, and ensure minimal downtime during repairs or upgrades.
- Follow safety protocols during field service visits and equipment handling to protect both staff and patients.
Requirements (Preferred)
- Experience working with OEM medical equipment or similar complex biomedical devices.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools for repairs and maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and electronic diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience performing calibration procedures on sensitive medical instruments.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components related to medical devices and their integration.
- Excellent field service skills with the ability to work independently across different healthcare facilities.
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
