Location: Onsite - Holly Springs, NC
Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)
Contract Length: 9 months (possible extension)
Compensation: $63/$71 per hour (based on experience)
Summary of the Role
Lead and manage high-level, complex non-technical projects for a large biotech pharmaceutical leader. Oversee all phases of the development lifecycle, from feasibility through implementation, ensuring delivery within defined scope, quality, time, and cost constraints. Regularly interact with cross-functional teams and management to meet project objectives and ensure compliance with regulated quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver complex, strategic projects from initiation through completion
- Coordinate resource allocation and direct project team activities
- Oversee all project phases including feasibility study, requirements, analysis, business plan, design, testing, and implementation planning
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and project reports to support data-driven decision-making
- Integrate and report project plans and portfolios using schedule/task data and standardized status reporting
- Track and coordinate GxP-impacting changes, ensuring compliance through collaboration with Quality, Regulatory, and Technical SMEs
- Support Change Control activities in GMP-regulated systems, ensuring thorough documentation and compliant execution
- Communicate project risks, issues, status, and outcomes clearly to project stakeholders and leadership
- Champion business process development and change management best practices
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience managing medium to large scale projects
- Deep understanding of project management processes and methodologies
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency with MS Project, MS Word, Visio, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience in business process development and change management
- Familiarity with systems for information sharing and collaboration

- GMP background

1. Expertise in developing and using Power BI dashboards and reports for executive-level project visibility

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring delivery to scope, timeline, cost, and quality expectations
- Proactively manage and escalate risks, dependencies, and issues to support on-time decision-making
- Support robust Change Control activities within GMP-regulated systems
- Develop and update dashboards and reports, communicate project status and risks to stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate degree
- Master’s degree and 2 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience
- Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience
- High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
