What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Specialist position at Advanced Behavioral Health Services?
Medical Office located in Naperville is looking for an experienced Patient Access Specialist to join our team and assist with daily tasks such as:
· Scheduling patient appointments
· Checking patients in/out and verifying current insurance information
· Collecting co-pays and/or balances due
· Updating Electronic Medical Records
. Assisting Nurse with clinical tasks
· Answering phone calls and triaging messages
. Completing Prior Authorizations for Medications
Experience: Required at least 1 year experience
Skills necessary: attention to detail, self-motivated, highly organized, able to multitask, excellent communication skills (written and verbal); proficient with Excel and Word; ability to learn and adapt in fast paced environment.
Competitive compensation.
Availability: daytime and evenings until 8:00pm; Some Saturdays daytime optional
Average hours per week: 30-40 hours
