What We Do

Advanced Behavior Analysis provides intensive Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) treatment to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. Services are provided in home and in clinic. Advanced Behavior Analysis strives to provide the highest level of care through bi-annual assessments, well-staffed and trained teams, weekly oversight by a BCBA, and collaboration with all invested parties.

What We Offer:

  • $10,000 sign-on bonus
  • Pay is $75,000 - $90,000, pay is based on experience and years certified as a BCBA, which includes $8,000 per year in bonuses, issued quarterly
  • Uncapped Profit Sharing: 2% of all billable time, paid out quarterly

Job Type: Full-Time

Hours of Operation: 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday

Service Area: Center Based in Sandy, Utah

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all licenses and certifications required for practice as a BCBA
  • Maintain contracted minimum hours as outlined in the employment contract
  • Full-time BCBAs must maintain assigned caseload and service expectations established for the Adult Autism Services program
  • Part-time BCBAs must maintain assigned caseload and service expectations established for the Adult Autism Services program
  • Teach, mentor, and cultivate the skills of technicians and direct-support team members to ensure safe, consistent, and person-centered implementation of each adult participant’s treatment and support plan
  • Provide ongoing competency-based supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to assigned team members and document supervision as required
  • Provide clinical supervision and caregiver/support-network training according to each participant’s individualized treatment plan and authorized services
  • Provide supervision within applicable payer, regulatory, contractual, and BACB requirements
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, guardians, residential providers, and other members of the participant’s support network, as authorized and clinically appropriate
  • Design, maintain, and oversee individualized, neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed ABA treatment plans for autistic adults with varying support needs
  • Complete initial assessments and reassessments according to clinical, payer, and program requirements to evaluate progress and ongoing service needs
  • Assess strengths, preferences, barriers, and support needs and develop measurable, socially meaningful goals that promote autonomy, dignity, self-determination, and quality of life
  • Develop and regularly update programming focused on functional life skills, independent living, communication, self-advocacy, emotional regulation, social connection, community participation, vocational readiness, health and safety, and other individualized goals
  • Provide caregiver, guardian, and support-person training as clinically indicated to promote consistency, generalization, and participant independence across environments
  • Collaborate with residential providers, vocational programs, healthcare professionals, community partners, and other interdisciplinary supports where applicable and authorized
  • Ensure treatment plans, assessments, progress reports, and other required clinical documentation are completed accurately and within established timelines
  • Collaborate with the Leadership team to support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Adult Autism Services program
  • Work with the Regional Director and program leadership to complete assigned goals, support program quality, and identify opportunities to expand meaningful adult services
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case review, program development, safety planning, and clinical problem-solving as assigned
  • Ensure Central Reach tasks and other assigned clinical or operational workflows are completed timely
  • Appointments must be entered into Central Reach and converted into a timesheet within 24 business hours of the actual service time and date
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential electronic health records
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of BACB ethics and professional standards, including requirements relevant to services for adults and vulnerable populations
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of industry standards, payer policies, adult-service regulations, participant rights, mandated reporting requirements, and applicable state and federal requirements
  • Actively check and respond to work-related communications within 24 business hours
  • Attend scheduled meetings, clinical reviews, trainings, and program-development activities as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher required
  • Active BCBA certification required
  • Have or obtain license to practice behavior analysis from Utah DOPL
  • Have or be willing to obtain BLS certification
  • Have or be willing to obtain required safety/crisis-prevention certification
  • Experience providing ABA or related supports to autistic adults, transition-age youth, or individuals with complex support needs preferred
  • Working knowledge of Central Reach and/or other electronic health record systems preferred
  • Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity, and flexibility in response to changing participant needs and community-based situations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, both oral and written, including the ability to work effectively with adults, families, guardians, direct-support staff, and interdisciplinary partners
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clinical and operational priorities
