Paint Reconditioning Technician — Mobile SMART (Small Medium Area Repair Technology) Repair (Full-Time, Commission)
Smart Bumpers is a mobile service. We work outside 12 months per year.

What You'll Do
- Perform mobile paint reconditioning and SMART repairs on vehicles.
- Paint Prep and mixing using our digital system. We use PPG Deltron
- Handle scratch, scuff, chip, and minor exterior cosmetic repairs start to finish
- Maintain your mobile setup — HVLP spray equipment, materials, and inventory
- Deliver a clean, professional customer experience on every job
- Manage your daily route and job schedule efficiently
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of automotive paint or related automotive experience (body shop, detailing with paint correction, automotive repair, or mobile reconditioning/repair background)
- Solid understanding or strong interest in learning paint systems, color matching, and paint correction techniques
- Comfortable working independently in the field with minimal supervision
- VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-obsessed — your work is your signature
- Able to communicate professionally with customers and dealership staff
Nice to Have
- Experience with mobile/on-site repair
- Dealership lot service or wholesale reconditioning experience
- Familiarity with HVLP spray guns and mobile paint setups
