Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. As an RBT, you will work directly with children in their homes, implementing individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy plans. Responsibilities
- Implement ABA therapy protocols tailored to each child's care plan, supporting their progress across various developmental areas
- Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines
- Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Support teaching strategies aligned with special education principles and behavior management techniques
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes and behavioral records, in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency and transparency in care
- Adhere strictly to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts and uphold confidentiality standards
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred
- Experience implementing ABA therapy protocols or related behavioral health interventions is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation practices is advantageous
- Home-based behavioral experience or school experience supporting children with autism enhances suitability for this role
- Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data accurately and maintain detailed client records
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques within applied behavior analysis frameworks
- Excellent client communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
