Responsibilities of ABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):
- Work 1:1 with patients in the home, school and community settings
- Consistently implement treatment plans (under BCBAs direction) and prepare program materials
- Collect and maintain accurate data and clinical notes utilizing data collection software (Central Reach)
- Review and implement consultation/supervision, note recommendations
- Maintain warm relationship with families and clients
- Participate in on-going training, evaluations and meetings, as required
- Assist with parent training and clinical assessments, as needed
- Communicate effectively with the BCBA regarding learners progress
- Submit notes and data in a timely fashion
- Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families, as needed
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies
Qualifications of a Registered Behavior Technician
- MUST HAVE AN RBT CERTIFICATION
- High School Diploma (relevant college degree and coursework is preferred)
- Desire to work with children, experience with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred
- Availability to work at least 15 hours weekly, including some flexibility regarding schedule changes required to accommodate patient needs
- Must have reliable transportation for sessions at patients' homes and schools, and possess a clean driving record and proof of automobile insurance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
