Research Park on the west side of Madison, is looking to add a Training

Specialist position to our well-trained and experienced staff. Advanced

Assembly, Inc. is an electronics manufacturing services provider of

The company is offering a \$1,500 sign-on bonus to newly-hired full-time

employees. The bonus will be paid on the first check following

successful completion of the employee\'s 90-day probationary period.

apply! Job Description The Training Specialist is responsible for

scheduling and conducting onsite training sessions and orientations for

new employees, as well as providing ongoing training for current staff.

This role requires strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with

the ability to communicate program concepts in a professional yet

approachable manner. The Training Specialist will also address

performance concerns and recommend improvements to training curriculum

and materials. Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an

individual must be able to perform each essential function

prepare manufacturing related training session materials, including

Safety, 5S, Restricted Substances, Quality Management System (QMS), and

Institute for Printed Circuits (IPC) workmanship standards. Administer

and maintain the training application within the QMS. Coordinate with

department managers to ensure training schedules are met. Schedule and

conduct classroom training sessions for new and current employees.

Provide ongoing training and mentoring by working alongside employees at

their workstations. Evaluate quality data and workmanship to assess

training effectiveness; collaborate with the Safety Manager on

performance issues and curriculum improvements. Maintain the training

records database. Work with Quality and Safety teams to update

procedures, documentation, and inspection processes. Assist in the

performance of safety inspections and audits. Deliver cross-functional

training, including Lean, Lean Six Sigma, 6S, and Safety initiatives.

\*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements: The

Requirements Listed Below Are Representative Of The Knowledge, Skills

and/or abilities required. High School Diploma or GED equivalent

required; technical degree or certification preferred. Current Certified

IPC Trainer (CIT) certification to applicable IPC/J-STD standards (e.g.,

IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721, J-STD-001). Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience

in the electronics manufacturing industry. 1-2 years of employee

Training Experience Preferred. Formal Training And/or Working Knowledge

of Lean, Lean Six Sigma, and 5S/6S methodologies, processes, and tools.

Basic understanding of safety programs and compliance with the

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) or other regulatory

agencies. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including PowerPoint; working

knowledge of ERP and QMS Systems. Strong interpersonal, written, and

verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively engage employees

while presenting program concepts in a professional yet approachable

manner. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within

a team. Ability to work with employees from diverse backgrounds and

varying levels of understanding. Ability to read, write, speak, and

understand English (verbal and written); secondary language a plus.
