Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examinations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards.
Experience
Candidates should have a strong background in nursing with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Long-term care or assisted living environments
- Pediatrics or geriatrics
- Home care or hospice & palliative medicine
- Proficiency in using EMR systems for medical documentation
