About the Role

We’re looking for a self-motivated, high-curiosity SDR with strong social intelligence and a natural inclination for selling. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospects and play a critical role in fueling our sales pipeline.

What You’ll Do
  • Source and qualify new sales opportunities through inbound requests and outbound outreach.
  • Conduct consultative qualification with prospects — understanding workflows, pain points, and financial operations.
  • Build top-of-funnel pipeline through warm and cold outbound campaigns.
  • Research insurance companies and add relevant prospects to outbound lists.
  • Identify decision-makers across MGAs, wholesalers, and carriers.
  • Craft high-quality, personalized outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn).
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and relationship data in Attio.
  • Partner closely with the founder and GTM team to refine targeting, messaging, and outreach strategies.
  • Represent Advance at conferences and industry events when needed.



What You’ll Need
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills and magnetic phone presence.
  • High comfort with prospecting, outreach, and building relationships.
  • Strong curiosity about how businesses move money and where financial operations break.
  • Dedication to tracking performance, improving daily, and running at a high pace.
  • An entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset — comfortable with ambiguity and excited by ownership of prior undefined processes.
  • Interest in fintech, financial infrastructure and insurance.
Nice to Haves
  • 1–3 years in sales or customer-facing roles.
  • CRM experience (Attio, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Experience at a high-growth startup.
  • Experience in Fintech startups.
  • Exposure to the insurance world (family, internships, previous role).
  • Ability to understand financial compliance, payments, or financial services.


For candidates located in NYC or SF, the pay range for this role is $76,000 - $104,500. For candidates located in all other locations, the pay range for this role is $68,000 - $93,500
