Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with each child's Individualized Family Service Plan(IFSP) and tailored to their unique needs.
- Deliver evidence-based therapies and behavioral therapy, and other interventions for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate closely with families to provide guidance on child development milestones, behavior management strategies, and support for learning at home.
- Work alongside other professionals—such as speech therapists, occupational therapists,physical therapist —to ensure comprehensive support for each child's progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation of sessions, progress reports, IFSP updates, and compliance with educational regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of childhood developmental delays, behavior management techniques, and early intervention practices.
- Experience working with students with autism or other disabilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, families, and multidisciplinary team members to foster collaboration and support.
- Relevant certifications or clearances to work with children, current driver's license
- Ability to travel in Butler, Armstrong, and Indiana Counties.
