Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Office Assistant at Advance Welding, located in the Springfield, Massachusetts Metropolitan Area. The Office Assistant will be responsible for performing general administrative tasks, such as answering phones, greeting customers and suppliers, maintaining schedules, handling correspondence, and providing support to office staff. Additional responsibilities include operating office equipment, managing clerical functions, and demonstrating excellent communication and organizational skills to support daily business operations effectively. Smaller company Human Resource experience a bonus, position could evolve into HR responsibilities to include payroll and benefits management.
Qualifications
- Strong Phone Etiquette and excellent Communication skills to interact professionally with clients and staff.
- Experience in Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage schedules, correspondence, and documentation.
- Proficiency with Office Equipment such as printers, scanners, and filing systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with basic office software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
- Proven ability to collaborate in a team and independently complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in office administration or a related role is advantageous.
