Advance Transit is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance of our fleet, facilities, and grounds. About the Role
As the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you'll lead the daily operations of Advance Transit's maintenance department, overseeing the care and maintenance of our fleet, facilities, equipment, and grounds. You'll ensure our assets remain in a state of good repair while maintaining compliance with FTA, FMCSA, OSHA, and state regulations.

What You'll Do
Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make an impact. You'll:
- Lead and develop a team of mechanics and maintenance staff.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs for buses, facilities, and equipment.
- Manage maintenance budgets, purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate vehicle assignments with Operations.
- Monitor inspections, repairs, and maintenance records using fleet management software.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, FMCSA, FTA, SDS, and state safety regulations.
- Oversee building systems including HVAC, roofing, drainage, solar, grounds, and general facility maintenance.
- Coordinate outside contractors and service providers.
- Support accident repairs and insurance claims involving fleet assets.
- Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a leader who has:
- Strong supervisory and team leadership experience.
- Extensive knowledge of fleet maintenance and facility operations.
- Experience with preventive maintenance planning and asset management.
- Excellent organizational, budgeting, and project management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience interpreting safety regulations and maintenance standards.
- Computer proficiency and experience with maintenance management software.
- The ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five or more years of experience in fleet, vehicle, or facility maintenance.
- Experience supervising maintenance personnel.
- Knowledge of FTA, FMCSA, OSHA, and DOT compliance requirements.
- Experience managing maintenance budgets and vendor contracts.
- Certifications related to fuel storage, fall protection, or maintenance operations are a plus.
