POLLINATOR- Seasonal

Location: Marion, IA
Shift: 7:30am - mid afternoon (Full or Part-Time Available)
Pay: $15 /hr
Advance Services Inc. is looking for Pollinators to work with Corteva Agriscience this summer! This is a seasonal position that begins the first of July, lasting 3-6 weeks. Donuts and fruit are provided for employees on Saturdays and Sundays! This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for a summer job that accommodates flexible schedules.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Pollinating - transferring pollen from the tassel of the plant to the silks of the ear
Detasseling - walk down aisles between the plants of seed corn, removing rogue plants, weeds, etc.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around corn, soybeans, pollen, and dust
Must be at least 14 years old
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to walk/stand on uneven ground
