Gasket Department Supervisor

Advance Products & Systems, LLC is seeking a Gasket Department Supervisor who will be responsible for all functions of our Gasket Department.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee and manage the daily operations of the department

· Monitor and manage the daily production schedule to ensure on-time shipments

· Provide daily guidance and direction to the production personnel and maintain a positive environment

· Communicate clear expectations to production personnel

· Monitor attendance, punctuality and start/stop times during break

· Maintain safe and clean work environment and equipment

· Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order

· Ensure the department is continuously producing quality products

· Promote and enforce compliance to all company policies and procedures

· Skills and Requirements:

· 3-5 years of experience in a management / leadership role in a manufacturing and assembly environment

· 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

· Strong leadership and management skills

· Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods

· Some machining experience - Turning, Boring, Grooving, Drilling / Tapping Etc.

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills

· ISO / API Quality System knowledge required

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
