Full Time Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant position, M-F. No Weekends. No Holidays.
JOB SUMMARY:
Assists the Physical Therapist with rehabilitative activities to help reduce pain and improve mobility. Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing.
Assists the Physical Therapist in the evaluation and assessment of the needs of referred patients and helps in formulating treatment plans. Provides therapy services in accordance with a defined written treatment plan. Within level of experience and training, plans and implements medically prescribed specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practice of physical therapy.
JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Requires an associate’s degree from an accredited program
- Licensed and registered in the state to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Pay is based on experience.
