We are seeking an experienced Licensed Journeyman Electrician to handle electrical service calls in Midland, TX. This position focuses on troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, experience responding to customer service calls, and the ability to work independently while providing safe, reliable, and professional electrical service.
Responsibilities- Respond to residential and commercial electrical service calls.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including power outages, faulty wiring, breakers, outlets, and lighting systems.
- Perform electrical repairs, replacements, and maintenance as needed.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify safety hazards and code violations.
- Install, repair, and replace electrical components and equipment.
- Explain electrical issues and recommended repairs to customers professionally.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable safety regulations.
- Maintain service records and document completed work.
- Work independently and efficiently while managing assigned service calls.
- Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License (Required).
- Minimum of 4 years of Journeyman Electrician experience.
- Previous experience performing electrical service calls and troubleshooting.
- Background in residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Strong diagnostic, repair, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical safety practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions when necessary.
