Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
- Clean carpets efficiently using specialized carpet cleaning equipment to remove stains and dirt buildup
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Follow safety protocols and environmentally friendly cleaning practices to promote a healthy workspace
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and supply usage to ensure accountability and efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures
- Expertise in floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors
- Skilled in carpet cleaning methods such as steam cleaning or extraction techniques
