Duties

• Safely operate various commercial vehicles, including box trucks and trucks with manual transmissions, to deliver products to customers across designated routes.
• Load and unload shipments using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring items are handled with care and accuracy.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Manage inventory within the warehouse, including moving stock using heavy lifting techniques and organizing storage areas efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols during loading, unloading, and driving activities to prevent accidents or damage.
• Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and warehouse records to ensure accurate tracking of shipments.

Experience

• Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred, especially with route driving responsibilities.
• Warehouse experience involving loading/unloading cargo, inventory management, or operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience; familiarity with box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for driving heavy vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Customer service skills that enable positive interactions with clients during deliveries.
• Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided for qualified candidates. Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
