Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with Wound Care in Home Care Setting. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and providing high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages. This role requires excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of anatomy, and the ability to perform specialized procedures wound care and proficient in the AXXESS software
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health status and care needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures as necessary for diagnostic testing.
- Assist with infant care, ensuring safety and comfort during examinations or treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance nursing skills.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Experience in home care setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques.
- Ability to perform IV infusions, wound care and other specialized nursing procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
