Advance Design Consultants is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE) to join our San Jose, Sacramento, or Newport Beach office. We deliver innovative engineering solutions across healthcare, federal, high-tech, biopharmaceutical, and commercial markets.
We’re looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise and leadership capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, laboratory, and process piping systems
- Perform analysis, prepare construction documents, and develop specifications
- Ensure compliance with IMC, IPC, NFPA
- Manage the mechanical scope for projects of varying size and complexity.
- Conduct site visits, field observations, and support construction administration
- Mentor junior staff and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Support client presentations, RFP responses, and business development
Qualifications
- PE License required
- 5 years in an A/E or consulting engineering firm
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Experience in healthcare, federal, high-tech, or biopharma projects preferred
- LEED AP preferred
