Job Description:
- This position will involve any or all of the following: mold set-up, pouring molten metal, removing castings, cut scrap, general cleanup, etc.
- Operate induction melting furnaces.
- Metal is loaded into the furnace by crane and by hand….heavy lifting required.
- Melt and adjust metal to specification prior to pouring. Experience with Inductotherm melting equipment desired.
- Experience in using a spectrometer is a plus.
- Clean furnaces and perform other tasks to keep the foundry producing efficiently.
- Perform other duties as required by supervision.
- Replace and/or repair melting crucibles.
- Must be able to work any shift.
- Proper use of all safety equipment as directed at all times is mandatory.
- Signing Bonus does not apply to previous hires
- $2,000 SIGNING BONUS UPON COMPLETION OF 500 HRS. WORKED
