We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable tutors to join our team and provide academic support to students in a variety of subjects. If you have a strong understanding of one or more subjects and enjoy helping others succeed, we want to hear from you!
Role Description
You will tutor students on the subject(s) of your expertise in a one-on-one or small-group setting. Tutoring sessions are mostly held at our center in Irvine or Online. Sessions are usually 1.5 hours each. We are seeking passionate teachers who love teaching students and helping them achieve their goals.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experienced in teaching the subject(s) of your choice.
- Well-prepared for each tutoring session. Able to utilize various resources, learning materials, and extra assignments to help students genuinely understand subject content.
- Able to quickly identify student's needs and create teaching & learning plans to improve students’ grades.
- Motivated, patient, and enjoy working with students in grades ranging from elementary to high school.
- Annotate and fill out class notes and paperwork promptly.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Flexible schedule (with the availability to teach on Saturdays is a plus).
- BA/BS or higher, preferably with a Master's/PhD.
- Bilingual in Chinese and English is a plus.
