What You’ll Do
- Program, set up and operate CNC lathes or mills produce high-precision aerospace components
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM support
- Optimize feeds, speeds, and tooling for maximum accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with AS9100/ISO quality standards
- Collaborate with other machinists, engineers, and quality teams to solve machining challenges
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years CNC machining experience (aerospace or high-precision preferred)
- Strong understanding of CAM programming, G-code, tooling, work holding, and setup
- Ability to hold tight tolerances (±.001" and tighter)
- Comfortable working with aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and superalloys
- Problem-solver with strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret complex prints and GD&T
- Experience with GibbsCam, Mastercam or similar CAM systems
- Willingness to participate in company-wide continuous improvement effort
Nice to Have
- Experience with 5-axis machining
- Knowledge of AS9100 quality processes
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
