SAP PMO Lead / SAP Program Management Office Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned SAP PMO professional to lead and manage the governance, planning, and execution of SAP programs and projects across the enterprise. This role is pivotal in ensuring delivery excellence, aligning SAP initiatives with business goals, and driving continuous improvement across project portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the SAP program/project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Establish and enforce PMO standards, methodologies (e.g., ACTIVATE, Agile, Waterfall), and best practices across SAP projects.
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for executive stakeholders.
- Monitor project health, risks, budgets, and timelines; drive corrective actions and escalation protocols.
- Collaborate with SAP functional and technical leads to ensure seamless delivery across ECC, S/4HANA, EWM, BW/BOBJ, and other modules.
- Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage resource planning, vendor coordination, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Support proposal development, budgeting, and strategic planning for SAP initiatives.
- Mentor project managers and delivery teams on PMO processes and tools.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7 years of experience in SAP program/project management, including PMO leadership roles.
- Proven track record managing large-scale SAP implementations and rollouts across global teams.
- Deep understanding of SAP modules and integration points (ECC, S/4HANA, EWM, BW/BOBJ).
- Expertise in project governance, risk management, and delivery assurance.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, SAP Solution Manager).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- PMP, Prince2, or SAP Activate certification preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
