Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Adult Residential Care Facility. The Residential House Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating care plans, supervising staff, and ensuring operational excellence within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the residential facility, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Supervise and lead caregiving staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to Community Care Licensing
- Manage medication administration processes in accordance with healthcare protocols.
- Coordinate resident activities and social programs to promote engagement and well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident health, care plans, and incident reports.
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational management to ensure financial sustainability.
- Foster positive relationships with residents’ families and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits.
Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home management, or home & community care settings.
- Strong background in behavior management, or related fields.
- Prior supervisory or management experience in long-term care or group home environments.
- Knowledge of care planning processes and ability to develop personalized resident care strategies.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of caregivers.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance tasks.
- Financial acumen related to budgeting and resource management within healthcare settings.
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals.
