Dermatology Office with offices in Trumbull, Westport, and Derby has a full-time position available. Candidates should have experience in a clinical setting and possess outstanding clinical and administrative skills, including computer, telephone, and interpersonal skills.
All candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including 1-2 Saturday mornings per month and be able to TRAVEL BETWEEN SATELLITE OFFICES IN TRUMBULL, WESTPORT, AND DERBY AND WORK A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE.
Responsibilities
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update medical records
- Assist and scribe for physicians during medical examinations and surgical procedures
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Skills
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in patient management software
- Medical Assistant education and training
