Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead our initiatives in the behavioral health sector. This role is pivotal in managing and developing programs that support individuals with mental health. As a Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing program operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering relationships with stakeholders.
Duties
- Manage the overall operations of behavioral health program, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement program strategies that promote effective service delivery and meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development and performance.
- Foster strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and families to promote collaboration and resource sharing.
- Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to program management and service delivery.
- Provide administrative support including reporting, documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a human services field, and or a professional credential and license in human services field, and (5) years of mental health experience, and (2) years supervisory experience.
- Proven experience in program management and development within the behavioral health sector.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
- Experience supervising staff in a clinical or community setting.
- Knowledge of best practices in working with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on interpersonal effectiveness.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team while also managing independent responsibilities.
