Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Operations to lead our organization’s operational excellence and quality assurance initiatives in our Adult Day Care / Adult Day Health and Psychosocial Rehabilitation programs. In this role, you will ensure high level standards of efficiency, compliance, and program quality. You will bridge the Executive Director's Strategic Plan with day-to-day execution, overseeing such areas as operations, facility management, and training, while driving quality improvement initiatives across all service lines. Your leadership will ensure that operational activities align with organizational goals, deliver exceptional service, and promote a culture of quality and accountability.
Duties
- Work with Executive Director to establish clear objectives and performance outcomes to monitor progress and produce results
- Implement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and quality performance across the organization
- Oversee the deployment and continuous improvement of processes to maximize service utilization
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through collaboration to support quality service delivery
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, certification, national accreditation, and internal policies through functional quality management systems
- Provide leadership in staff and program support, resource management, employee training and development, and proactive plans to uphold high standards of safety and quality
Skills
- Must have BS in Human Services or related field from an accredited university
- MUST meet NC requirements for Qualified Professional (adults with I/DD and adults with MH). 3-5 years' experience in MH/DD/SUS services at supervisory level.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of NC Clinical Coverage Policies, NC Rule, licensure, and national accreditation requirements.
- Strong experience in organizational management
- Background in non-profit administration, process improvement, and implementing strategic plans, preferred
- Experience with accreditation standards, monitoring, and program evaluation preferred
- Knowledge of quality assurance initiatives, managing performance measures, and overseeing compliance reviews
- Financial management, including budget development and maintenance
- Strong leadership skills with the capacity to positively influence all levels of the organization
- Demonstration of honesty and integrity in personal & professional interactions and communications

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
