Starting wage is $17.13 an hour.
We are hiring for-
7am to 3pm with a mix of 3pm to 11pm- This is a mixed shift. Qualifying for this position will be determined after interviewing.
7am to 3pm-16-40hrs.
3pm to 11pm-16 to 32hrs.
11pm to 7am- 16 to 24 hrs.
Ishpeming is hiring as well for-
3pm to 11pm- 16-40hrs.
11pm to 7am- 16-40hrs.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Must be able to pass a Physical and background check.
- .25 cent raise every 6 months for 3 yrs.
Location of interview-228 W. Washington Street Suite 4 Marquette, MI 49855. We are directly across the street from the Mining Journal on the corner of 4th street and Washington street. Enter through the green door.
Who are we?
- Adult Learning Systems- U.P. is a nonprofit organization who has been caring for people with disabilities for more than 30 years.
- We manage 20 licensed Adult Foster Care Homes in the Upper Peninsula.
What to expect?
- There are typically 2 or 3 staff per shift.
- Shifts vary depending on the home.
- Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Cooking, cleaning, socializing, in home and out of home activities with the residents, passing medications and caring for their daily needs.
- Building strong relationships with our residents.
Qualifications?
- No experience necessary. All training is provided and paid for at your regular hourly wage.
- No high school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
