Job Summary
This is a full time position working 30 - 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00 pm. No weekends or major Holidays. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Partners to provide exceptional support and assistance to seniors and adults with disabilities as part of a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting well-being in a respectful and professional manner. This role requires strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to handle various caregiving tasks with empathy. Responsibilities
- Assist program participants with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, feeding, mobility support and activities.
- Drive one of our shuttle buses to pick up participants at their homes and deliver them to our program site and home again in the afternoon.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent falls or accidents
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding care needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in condition
Qualifications
- Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related fields preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
- Ability to assist with mobility using equipment such as wheelchairs or lifts
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating shuttle buses with wheelchair tie downs preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; experience in shuttle driving is beneficial
- Ability to lift and move patients or equipment safely (manual handling skills)
- Must be reliable, patient, attentive to detail, and able to work independently or as part of a team
