Overview
OPPIDAN, an inpatient brain injury rehabilitation program is actively interviewing for a Part time weekend shifts RN or LPN to join our team. In this role, you will work with individuals of varying ages and abilities.
Primary responsibilities include:
Supervise the Medical Technicians on shift, administer medications as necessary, work with clients to address any needs that may come about. Use Tools for Positive Interaction and Professional Crisis Management techniques to de-escalate problematic client behavior, reinforce, and shape appropriate behavior.
· Must meet the physical requirements of Professional Crisis Management.
· Must demonstrate effective communication across multiple disciplines.
· Must be able to accurately communicate issues and events, as necessary.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of occupational health practices and principles.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Proficient in developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Salary wage commensurate with experience
Active License in state of Florida required
2-3 years therapy experience preferred
Must successfully pass criminal background check
Job Type: Part time, Possible Full time B shift
