As a Software Engineer you will be a member of a young and dynamic team responsible for designing, analyzing requirements, developing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software solutions for Adtran Infrastructure Monitoring (AIM) products. Your work will span multiple areas, including software product development, embedded device software, network-layer architecture, proof-of-concept development, and post-release support. As part of our Adtran Infrastructure Monitoring (AIM) team, you will develop cutting-edge embedded software for fiber sensing systems that enable critical infrastructure operators to detect and localize network faults in real time. Our solutions directly impact the reliability of critical communication infrastructure worldwide. Key Tasks: Develop and maintain embedded software for fiber monitoring devices (C/C or Rust) Design and implement real-time data processing pipelines for sensor data Contribute to system architecture and software design decisions Prototype and evaluate new technologies in proof-of-concepts Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, system, product).
