Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own the enterprise discoverability strategy across traditional SEO and emerging AI-driven‑driven answer engines (e.g., featured snippets, voice, conversational search).
- Set standards and best practices for structured data, semantic optimization, and content clarity across all digital properties.
- Lead cross-functional‑functional collaboration with SEO, content, communications, analytics, and technology teams to operationalize AEO at scale.
- Define success metrics and reporting, building dashboards and translating insights into clear recommendations for business and content leaders.
- Stay ahead of industry shifts, including AI search platforms, zero‑click experiences, and evolving search engine behaviors.
- Establish governance to ensure discoverability practices align with brand, accessibility, and data privacy standards.
- Evangelize discoverability excellence through education, enablement, and executive‑level storytelling.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Proven success optimizing for featured snippets, structured data, and AI‑driven search environments.
- Deep understanding of semantic search, technical SEO and search platform evolution.
- Experience influencing cross-functional‑functional teams without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise SEO platforms (e.g., BrightEdge, Conductor, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Experience managing direct reports (technical SEO, content strategist).
- 7–10 years of experience in SEO, content strategy, or digital experience optimization, including enterprise-scale‑scale implementations.
- Experience in a regulated or complex industry (e.g., home services, financial).
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and enterprise content workflows.
- Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and its impact on search.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and drive change across departments.
- This position sits at our offices in Irving, TX or corporate headquarters in Boca Raton, FL. We follow a 4 days onsite and 1-day remote schedule.
