Summary:
The Staff IT Auditor is an entry-level position within Internal Audit and is responsible for assisting with risk-based audits of technology infrastructure, information security, business applications system, and significant projects. The staff IT Auditor will interact with the Information Security function as well as financial and operational management personnel across the company.

Summary:
The Staff IT Auditor is an entry-level position within Internal Audit and is responsible for assisting with risk-based audits of technology infrastructure, information security, business applications system, and significant projects. The staff IT Auditor will interact with the Information Security function as well as financial and operational management personnel across the company.
Objectives & Responsibilities:
Carry out the vision and mission of Internal Audit to enhance and protect organizational value:
- Assist with executing internal audit procedures to identify and define audit issues and root causes.
- Assist with validating the design and effectiveness of ADT's internal control infrastructure, identifying control improvements, gaps, and issues with control execution within IT processes.
- Promote a zero-tolerance control environment where fraud or noncompliance is unacceptable and difficult to conceal.
- Assist Management and Senior IT Auditors with operational reviews and/or ad hoc projects.
Skills and Competencies:
- Possess a high energy level and strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic and changing environment that strives to exceed expectations.
- Possess the drive to quickly gain working knowledge and understanding of ADT policies and procedures.
- Possess strong interpersonal and team skills, as well as presentation and communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Possess a working knowledge in the areas of Information Security and Technology, including basic understanding of core technology domains, specifically software development cycle, Windows and Unix OS, database management (Microsoft SQL, Oracle, DB2), cloud computing systems (including Software as a Service "SaaS" and other vendor-hosted solutions), basic networking infrastructure (i.e., firewalls), and basic robotic process automation (UiPath).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required and/or Master's degree preferred (coursework in areas of study, including but not limited to computer science or engineering, management information systems, business, accounting, or finance).
- 0-2 years related experience in an audit role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification preferred (i.e., CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP).
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid role - In-office and remote working schedule.
Travel:
- Travel up to 10%.
