About ADS
ADS Machinery Corp. designs and manufactures custom equipment for the processing of coiled metals. Sales, engineering, purchasing, machining, assembly, and ancillary roles work both collaboratively and independently to execute all functions from conception to commissioning.
Role
Work from drawings, schematics, and bills of material to assemble and align large industrial equipment. Work primarily independently but also with others for tasks that require teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Report to shop foreman
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Determine method of assembly of individual parts into subassemblies and complete machines
- Precision alignment of machine components
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassembly machinery
- Bend and install tubing for lubrication lines
- Construct and install aqueous, hydraulic, and pneumatic piping assemblies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic arithmetic
- Comprehension of mechanical assembly and detail drawings
- Comprehension of hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
- Physical ability to climb, lift, and reach
- Provide own basic hand tools
- Use of shop equipment
