Work Experience:
We are searching for a Senior Information Systems Specialist with expertise in Windows Server, website and content management, Microsoft SharePoint and SQL (MS SQL), and VMWare in support of the OIG mission applications and lab environments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, analyze and resolve server and client / server issues in a timely and appropriate manner
- Perform all administrative maintenance efforts, including managing security groups, permissions and settings, backups
- Create work documentation to improve process efficiency
- Work with users to resolve client server concerns
- Evaluate and recommend new capabilities as needed
- Must understand and work within 508 Compliance
- Must support occasional travel
Technical Skills:
The candidate shall possess the skills and knowledge set forth in the IT BOA. In addition, the candidate shall possess the following skills and knowledge:
- Windows Server administration and support
- VMWare administration
- Web based client server modeled applications
- SharePoint administration
- Website management
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent teamwork
The candidate may possess, though not required, the following skills and knowledge:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Microsoft SQL Server administration
- Database administration
