Job Purpose
The Office Clerk provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure efficient day-to-day office functions. This role assists with mailroom operations, invoice processing, facilities coordination, and general clerical tasks while maintaining accurate records and supporting internal staff needs. By operating office equipment, managing document services, and assisting with logistics and vendor coordination, the Office Clerk helps maintain an organized, productive, and professional workplace environment.
Job Description
· Assist with daily mailroom operations, including sorting incoming mail, processing outgoing mail, running postage meters, and coordinating UPS and other courier shipments and deliveries.
· Process invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper documentation and routing for payment approval.
· Support the Facilities Manager with various administrative and operational tasks related to office maintenance and coordination.
· Print and distribute building access badges for staff and authorized personnel.
· Assist with document management services, including coordinating shredding and records storage through vendors such as Iron Mountain.
· Operate office equipment including copiers, scanners, facsimile machines, and personal computers to support daily business needs.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation related to mail, invoices, facilities requests, and vendor services.
· Provide general clerical and administrative support to internal teams to ensure smooth office operations.
· Adhere to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and records management guidelines.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Basic computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and data entry.
· Organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Prior experience in a similar role or in an administrative capacity can be beneficial but not always required.
