Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fence Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of fencing systems, ensuring safety, precision, and quality in every project. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine fencing layout and materials needed
- Measure and mark installation sites accurately to ensure proper fence alignment and height
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to dig post holes, set posts, and assemble fencing components
- Install various types of fences including wood, vinyl, chain-link, or ornamental styles with precision and attention to detail
- Perform concrete forming and finishing as needed for secure post setting
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety standards on construction sites
- Utilize welding skills when required for custom or reinforced fence sections
- Assist with masonry or hardscape tasks related to fencing projects when necessary
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly
Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Prior experience in fence installation is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, and landscape maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and the safe operation of power tools is essential
- Construction site experience demonstrating adherence to safety protocols is preferred
- Skills in welding or assembly work can be advantageous but are not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials repeatedly throughout the day is required
- A valid license and clean driving record are required
