Job Opening: General Laborer (Residential Construction)

We are a growing residential general contracting firm based in San Carlos, dedicated to delivering high-quality home renovations and custom builds. We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and safety-conscious General Laborer to join our crew.
You will be the backbone of our job sites, supporting our skilled tradespeople and ensuring our projects run smoothly, cleanly, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and protecting finished surfaces.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials (lumber, drywall, tile, etc.) safely around the site.
- Support Skilled Trades: Assist carpenters, plumbers, and electricians with tasks such as holding materials, measuring, cutting, and installing basic components.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace by sweeping, collecting trash, and organizing tools at the end of each shift.
- Tool Care: Maintain and safely operate basic hand and power tools.
- Adherence to Safety: Follow all company safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in residential construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and have reliable transportation to and from job sites in San Carlos and surrounding areas.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently, stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attitude: A "can-do" attitude, willingness to take direction, and a strong desire to learn new construction trades.
- Documentation: Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
