SUMMARY
The Middle School Swim and Dive Coach provides leadership and instruction to student-athletes by developing fundamental aquatic skills, promoting physical fitness, and fostering teamwork and sportsmanship in a safe environment. The coach designs daily practice plans for varying skill levels, coordinates meet lineups, and manages the team during competitions. Additionally, this role ensures strict pool safety enforcement, monitors student eligibility, maintains regular communication with parents and administrators, and models discipline and inclusivity to support character development.
- Candidates must be able to swim.
- Candidates should have participation or coaching experience at the high school level or higher, in the sport of competitive swimming and diving.
- Candidates must be available for daily practices and attendance at meets.
- Candidates must have current AED/CPR certification, or be able to obtain prior to the season.
