Job Summary:
Adrenalin Attractions is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and well-structured bids for themed fabrication and experiential projects using Adrenalin Attractions’ established estimating and bidding system.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working within defined protocols, procedures, and approval workflows. This position requires a strong understanding of fabrication methods, material sourcing, departmental coordination, and internal cost structures, along with the ability to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and clients throughout the bidding process. Experience in themed fabrication, scenic fabrication, or custom experiential projects is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ROMs, ballpark estimates, and formal bids using Adrenalin Attractions’ Monday.com bidding templates and workflows.
- Prepare Fabrication Narratives, with detailed Timelines using Adrenalin's Narrative Template
- Follow established estimating protocols, procedures, and approval processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accountability across all bids.
- Develop a clear understanding of Adrenalin Attractions’ internal departments, labor structures, fabrication capabilities, and cost models.
- Source materials, equipment, and specialty items from vendors and suppliers to support accurate cost estimates.
- Coordinate with internal teams including design, CAD, fabrication, production, and project management to define scope, assumptions, and constraints.
- Ensure all bids are properly reviewed, approved, and submitted in accordance with company guidelines.
- Communicate with clients as needed to clarify scope, assumptions, timelines, and budget parameters during the estimating phase.
- Track revisions, value-engineering efforts, and scope changes throughout the bidding process.
- Maintain organized documentation for all estimates, including supporting backup, vendor quotes, and internal approvals.
- Support continuous improvement of estimating workflows and tools within Monday.com.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or Estimator in fabrication, themed entertainment, experiential marketing, exhibits, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, labor estimating, and production workflows.
- Ability to work within structured systems and follow established protocols and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and client interaction.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with estimating tools, spreadsheets, and project management platforms (experience with Monday.com is a plus).
Preferred Experience
- Themed fabrication, scenic fabrication, exhibits, museums, or experiential installations.
- Familiarity with CNC fabrication, foam sculpture, fiberglass, scenic painting, metalwork, and large-format 3D printing.
- Experience sourcing custom materials, specialty hardware, lighting, and AV components.
- Understanding of approval workflows, revision tracking, and bid governance processes.
