What are the responsibilities and job description for the TIG Welder position at ADP Workforce Now?
Currently hiring skilled TIG Welders for long-term industrial projects. As a TIG welder you will perform TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe systems from 4-6 inches and upwards to 24 inches. Candidates should have recent proven TIG welding experience, experience welding carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe, and the ability to weld pipe systems up to 24 inches. All candidates are required to successfully pass a 6G welding test.
Pay: $28 to $35, depending on experience
Shift: 1st shift, 40-45 hours a week
TIG Welder Job Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems
- Weld pipe systems up to 24”
- Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
- Inspect welds for quality and compliance with project standards
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Follow OSHA and site-specific safety procedures
TIG Welder Requirements
- Proven experience as a TIG welder in industrial environments
- Minimum of 5 years of recent TIG welding experience
- Ability to pass a 6G weld test
- Experience welding carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Strong attention to detail and weld quality
- Ability to travel to jobsites in Memphis and surrounding areas. Travel pay offered if jobsite is more than 60 miles away from Memphis, TN.
