Cat E&A is an innovative, multidisciplinary team conducting global, location level catastrophe risk evaluations, developing independent models and solutions, and delivering quantitative insured loss metrics that inform underwriting decisions.

Your primary role will be to collaborate with the Catastrophe Engineering and Analytics team to assess and present BHSI’s view of the flood risk for individual customer’s property portfolio. • Contribute to flood risk modeling and analytics to support ongoing business needs
  • Perform flood risk evaluations using vendor models and internal tools
  • Communicate flood risk modeling concepts and results to underwriters to guide underwriting decisions
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate BHSI’s view of risk into catastrophe modeling tools and platforms

  • Solid knowledge of probability and statistics
  • Advanced GIS skills (QGIS, ArcGIS, or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player

  • A competitive package and exciting growth opportunities for career-oriented teammates.
  • A dynamic, action oriented, and thoughtful environment centered on always doing the right thing for our customers, teammates, and our other stakeholders.

  • Comprehensive Health, Dental and Vision benefits
  • Disability Insurance (both short-term and long-term)
  • Life Insurance (for you and your family)
