JOB DESCRIPTION
Our ideal Business Development Executive must have the desire, commitment, ethics, skills, and be dependable.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Acquiring new accounts by cold calling, developing, and pursuing leads in market segments served by BBB
- Calling developed contacts within assigned region to generate account leads and develop business relationships
- Using extensive business databases, directories, industry websites, and other sources to continually build new prospect pipeline
- Conducting all account building activities from prospecting, to qualifying, to closing business accreditations over the phone in the office Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of working in a sales environment
- Willingness to uphold BBB Standards of Trust and Core Values
- Adhere to all company presentation guidelines and policies
- Deliver presentations via telephone in a friendly, professional and confident manner
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Must have the ability and desire to close accounts. Previous experience of lead generation and cold calling a plus
- Exemplary attendance, promptness, time management, and attention to detail
- Participation as a team player
